ok so i have a 1990 camaro it has the stock 305 in it.....so far i have removed the AC with a ac bypass kit and i have removed most of the A.I.R pump stuff. i have a set of flowtech headers that im going to install within the next week or so i have removed the stock air intake and put one off of a old carbed motor on it(open air). my question is about my heads and my intake.....i dont care a whole lot about major performace just little stuff since the car is getting a new motor this winter and this motor will be in a DD blazer, but what heads can i run that will be better...would the vortec heads off of a 350 truck work? and do i have to do any ecu changes if i put the TBI off of a 454 on there?

 

The Throttle Body Unit should be fine if you were to put heads on. But without a cam your powerband will be out of whack and without tuning you wont get the full potential out of the heads, yes the vortec heads will fit.
