FAILED CA REFEREE INSPECTION emission, please help

so i got a fix it ticket for emisions/exhaust awhile ago, and i had to take it to a state referee,

for the emisions test they tested my car while the ses light was blinking, the chip was loose
the test results were

15mph: %co2 =13.8 %02=.1 HC = 41/ max 110 co% meas= 1.02/ max.71 No= 143/ max 772

25mph: %co2 = 13.8 %02=.0 hc=35/ max 85 CO%= 1.53/max .59 no
ppm128/ max 711

So my CO% is killing me, ive never had a problem with it before ususally it measure .01, did it do this because the ecm chip wasnt properly installed, but if that was the case sholdnt the rest of the measurments of pollutants be sky high as well?

the referee said i/m running to rich, but my fuel presure is at factory settings?

what can i do? did it do this because of the chip being loose?

Most vehicles won't even run with a loose chip let alone pass a smog test. The test results are completely useless as the engine was running in limp home mode which is a couple of resistors that fire the injectors at a set time period. It's ment for you to limp the car off the freeway....not pass smog.

Try it again with the chip installed.

thats what i thought, i heard them start up my car and it was chuguglugging like no other, shouldnt it have faled all the test like hc and nox, or was the limp mode good enough to pass thoose test but not the Co, cause usually co is almost nothing, on my smog test , my problem was always high nox, then i opened up the egr and they went down but hc wet up as wel

i actually drove the car once with no prom, accident of coarse and it was idling at about 2 graand and it felt like the timing was 20 degrees retarted and it was blowing gas out the tail pipes,

my car actually puts out less hc/ nox with a loose chip? but the co went up 100x

so i guess i should make sure its in there good next time

And your post added nothing to the conversation, kinda like this one.

At least in CA we have stuff like the beach and amusement parks to entertain ourselves. In New Mexico, your entertainment is watching cow chips harden.

Don't forget the tried and true sport of cow tipping!

Bonus points if you use a wrangler in low gear with enough pillows taped to the front to not harm the animals!
