hey i got a 89 trans am with the 305 tbi and i cant find any aftermarket performace throttle bodies or carbs only for the tpi 305 or 350. Does any one know if the tpi would fit or any where i can find the parts im looking for because now im at a lost.

tpi (tuned port injection) and TBI (throttle body injection) are two totally different forms of fuel injection. No parts interchange. holley makes some bigger TB's for our systems but they are not needed at your power level. It's been proved than a stock 305 TBI will support over 300 hp. Plus any kind of mods to the TBI will require you to go into the chip and make some changes.

I would look to exhaust for your first modifications.
