TBI stutter

92 RS camaro 305 stock tbi setup stock everything really. 92000 miles. very well taken care of.

My problem is After the car has sat overnight or for a couple hours when you first accelerate it will stumble/miss/hesitate. Its really hard to explan it sounds and feels like its cuttin out, then it will run ok the rest of the trip and it nevers just starts doin it out of the blue, its always after it sits.

I have no idea were to start i am not familiar with diagnosis of tbi systems.

Any and all help will be highly apprciated.
thanks

Re: TBI stutter

It could be a lot of things. Possibly a faulty ignition system, fuel pressure too low or some other issue causing a lean condition during tip in. It could even be a goober in the factory calibration.

Have you given it a tune-up recently?

That'd be my first question too. When was the last time it was tuned up? Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, ign. module, ign. coil, air filter, fuel filter...etc. How old are these items? Any combination of those could cause your problem.
