TBI ?

is a tbi unit from a mid 90's cadilac 5.7 liter the same as any other 5.7 liter gm tbi unit and has the 64 lbs injectors?

The Caddy TBI units are interesting. They have a small curved ring under the injectors. Probably there to improve low speed driveability. As it will create a low pressure area which will help shear the fuel into a finer mist.

Not sure what size the injectors are. Could always get one and try it out. Also note that I don't believe they have an IAC. The ones I've seen use a idle motor on the throttle linkage. This would eliminate the loud hissing from teh IAC passage.

If it truely is a 5.7 it is a Small Block Chevy 350. That would have the same TBI unit as a 5.7 truck/van/suv/B-car. Should have 61# injectors, although I have seen some 55# injectors in the 180HP models.

sounds good, i grabbed one from a yard near me and i wasnt sure if it was right but ill try it and see wat happends thx
