why does my car suck

I'm running a stock 91 rs 305 TBI with a 7004r

It runs good i've changed all the fluids and the timing is a little advanced I even changed the transmission filter and fluid...

but when me and my friends 2.8litr 5speed 88RS stays with me all the time

its like kind of even and it sucks

Re: why does my car suck

You have the very common case of "old worn out third generation camaro"

Must be warn out, I've owned a 2.8 and now a 5.0 and there's no way my old 2.8 couldv'e stayed with the 5.0 I have now.

Re: why does my car suck

I'm sure is also because of your high rear end gears.

true, that and the 5 speed have to have a bit of an advantage, but that V8 should still of beaten that V6 back in the day, otherwise chevy/pontiac wouldn't have much to sell, lol.

Re: why does my car suck

i got this car recently and was told it had been rebuilt

the engine sounds and feels tight and looks real clean

car has 160k on it but the odometer don't work anymore at the moment

i've been putting a little in her here and there

She will lay rubber when I get down on it. I kind of think it might be in the trans and gears.......

any advice is greatly taken
