what do you guys think of the velocity stack air cleaners???
i need to know, as im considering 1 of them...it will feed my 383... i know they are smaller, but they sit taller on the tb.. and direct the flow straight into the bores...

any ill effects ? or is anyone running any of them? I have a BBC tb on the 383 now...

im really looking for a smaller element... about the same diameter or the TB itself, maybe lil bigger... does anyone know if this will support a 383... i notice alot of them say high cfm.. and alot say velocity..

I would go with one of the xtreme style filters on ebay for less than $70 including shipping. See item #330192381996 for example. Not a K&N brand but half the cost.

 

thanks guys... i like the element with the air flow on top... i may get 1 of them on ebay.. but i was really trying to get away with a tiny filter.. i mean like 8" diameter or something... but i believe that is not possible to feed the stroker... i was thinking if i made it sit up higher, then the air can enter straight into the bores, even being it a smaller filter..

ill decide something soon..
