The last couple of mornings my Camaro doesn't want to start. It has been below 25 every morning. After I pump the gas like a carb, it starts taking it and after she turns I have to still pump a little to get her to idle right. What should I start looking at for the problem?

IAC motor. Do a search on how to clean them. Mine just started acting up too. I cleaned it and it works a little better now. Still have to lightly push the gas for it to start, but I can let off right away and it idles fine. Its gonna need replaced soon though.

That stuff works wonders. That can right there has gotten me out a couple of parking lots when it hasn't wanted to start. The funny thing is that I have that exact same fluid.

Never had to use it in my car yet. Even today in the negative fahrenheit my car started ok. Cranked real slow at first though, and the key was real hard to turn. I had to pump the clutch a few times it was real stiff too.

Replace the coolant temp sensor. My car had a starting problem when cold and that cured it.

Re: No cold starting
We are suppose to have some winter weather in the next couple of days, and then the temp is going to drop back down in the teens again. I know that my remote start will not work, and that I will have to manually pump my gas to get her to start. I asked about the IAC, but wouldn't that be a constant problem? IDK?
