hey guys i came home the other night and parked my 89 tbi camaro. it sat one day and then it didnt start up. It cranks strong. But wont fire up. I checked to see if feel was squirting thru the throttle body and theres nothing. Then i squirted some fuel into them myself, but still wont start. The fuel pump seems to engage. Then I checked for a spark and dont see nothin happening?

In the past it wouldnt start after sittin in cold weather but after reading threads on here I put in a new coil and a new fuel relay and its been fine. Untill now? ne ideas, help?

 

Sounds like it could be distributor related, like either the pick up coil or the ignition module. My vote is for the module.

Hey thanks for the help. It finally stopped rainin so i went out and tightened up the dist cap and checked to make sure the wire on the coil was clean. Then i put the air cleaner back on and it fired up, woo hoo. I dunno exactly wat the prob was. i recently have put on a hi perf coil.
