gas pooled in the intake

My 92 RS just underwent some surgery on the cooling fan system ( we had to bypass and re route wiring and set up a toggle for the fan to run ) cuz I was driving it and the fan sut off and the coolant temp got to 230 but it still ran at that point.. 2 days of it sitting in the garage and its flooded as all hell and when I open the butterfly valves on the TB I can see gas pooled in the intake. Could that be a result of faulty injectors ( I rebuilt the TB with gaskets and diaphragm ) or something more serious?

Re: gas pooled in the intake

Didn't read it correctly, the injectors could be leaking leaving some extra in the bores. May want to take a look into the TBI and see if you can see any signs of leakage (wet trail of fuel)

Re: gas pooled in the intake

maybe a leaky fuel injector...dripping when off?? What did you do to the fuel injectors when you had them out for the rebuild. Sure the seals sat in there properly and they "clicked" in as they are supposed to?
