89 305 TBI to 350 TBI vortec
89 305 TBI to 350 TBI vortec
I am looking to swap my 305TBI to a 350TBI Vortec. I was told I need a new intake manifold, computer chip, and larger fuel pump. I was also told that I could put a larger cam in the Vortec. Will everything else on my stock 305 bolt to the Vortec? I am sure someone has done this swap and I would appreciate any info on exactly what I will need. Thanks

the exhaust is restictive for a 305, so you'll want something that flows better, and you'll need a 350 tb unit, or a holley one. other than tha you are pretty well covered. gmpp makes a good manifold for the swap.
