low rpm tq 4x4 build

I have a stock tbi 350 in a k5 blazer and I was wondering what you all thought about a good head cam choice with all the other bolt on products in place(intake headers etc.)

I am looking at the patriot heads and the EQ iron heads. And I cant think for the life of me what a cam profile would look like that would still work well with a tbi set up.

I am looking for the most low rpm tq I can get to move this pig up the hill. Anyone got any suggestions?

I'm bringing this back up to the top because I'm a 4x4 guy aswell looking to build my tbi motor. I'm looking for a good combo of parts... heads, cam, intake. etc. I've done a lot of reading and searching and havent found much yet.

Vortec heads are the best stock sbc heads there are. There is a lot of info to read up on this subject. SD parts have upgraded ones for larger springs, or you can run 918 comp cams LS1 springs without modifying heads. You will need to machine the valve guides if you go over .475 lift.

Edelbrock e-techs are a great choice as well, but are about a grand.

I am building a 350 vortec right now with a LT-4 hotcam. I may do the work to use the stock heads or I may just buy the e-techs. I should just get a smaller cam, but what fun would that be.
