Question about TBI throttle linkage

I rebuilt the TBI on my 305/LO3 last night, put in some injectors cleaned by witchhunter.com, reset the timing (it was slightly retarded), replaced the 02 sensor and man this thing is running strong for a stock 305. Its got a good exhaust, opened up air intake and some chip work but otherwise stock but I'm really happy with how strong its running now.

One question, there are 3 separate cables that connect to the TBI throttle arm, I was expecting two, the pedal cable and the auto trans kick down cable.

Can anybody tell me what the 3rd one is connected to?

Two of them connect to the top of the arm, the third one has an exposed thin wire cable and connects to the bottom of the arm.

Thanks,

Paul T.

One ot the top ones goes to the pedal the other to the cruise control servo. The lower one with the thin wire connects to the transmission via the TV cable.
