question

building a 305 TBI with the 350 vortec heads, for the throttle/detent cable whats have others done since this bracket bolts to the intake to head bolts, and the vortec head intake bolts are a completely different setup than any other SBC. Any thoughts, the heads are already at the machine shop so i need to make it work...

Re: question

There are several adjustable brackets that one can use. Lokar has a good unit. I would call their tech line. I am confident they can help. I happened to use Edelbrock adj bracket myself but that was for Holley TBI manifold replacing GM stock.

Re: question

This is not pretty but it has been on the car since 2001. It's just a flat plate to extend the mounting surface out to where the stock bracket was located.

FYI......I cut the cruise and detent parts of the bracket off since I did not need them........
