Lasting Tbi Problem
Ive had this problem with the tbi since i got the car. When you get it to a certain RPM it starts to buck..It gets worse when the car is warm or you drive it and turn it off, and then crank it back up. It idles fine and drives fine before that RPM.
So far ive done:
plugs, wires, cap, rotor
all sensors in the car
checked all fuses
Fuel delivery looks good(nice misty cone)
Oil Changed, filter
Coolant Flushed
i think the emissions stuff is unhooked
ive had past codes 25 34 and 54..but ever since i tuned it up they havent came back
only thing i havent done is fuel filter...but i dont see how itd be the problem..any suggestions plzzzzzzzz

Woo--i was thinkin that no one was going to reply
but no ive never tested the ignition module...guess thatll be the next thing to get. Just curious, how does a bad ignition module, cause this problem?

Re: Lasting Tbi Problem
The module gets warm and it stops sending the signal to the coil to fire. If you end up replacing the module, I would recommend the coil as well. The two seem to fail about the same time.

Re: Lasting Tbi Problem
okay well it seems that the Ignition Module and the Coil were not the culprits. The car runs a little better but it still persists to struggle at a certain throttle point. Its especially noticable when accelerating off of a hill like place..any more suggestions..??
