AC troubleshooting

My ac does not work and I need some help troubleshooting. It was recently recharged when I bought it, the low pressure port on the ac r134 container was loose and leaking so all the coolant escaped. I tightened it and recharged it. My compressor kicks on and off and appears to be functioning correctly. It no longer blows cold though. It once did after I charged it. I am guessing a leak...any ideas where to start looking? any experience with the black light leak finder stuff? What else can I do to help solve the ac mystery?

I have a brass valve that screws onto the ac contanister that holds the r134 and it looks like an adapter...(this is the port that you can hook up your recharging can to) anyway, it is brass, but does not have teflon tape on it, I was also curious if it was still leaking there...do I need to put teflon tape on it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...summer is here in Texas and it is alreay hot in the car. Thanks!
