Car: 1971 Camaro
1985 TPI > 1988 TBI
I got a 85 Trans Am from my brother (swap a projection big screen TV for it 
...I just bought a new 51" LCD flatscreen and this one was taking up space) But all the TPI stuff was removed by the previous owner and someone slapped a truck engine in it.
I already put TPI on my 82 corvette with an aftermatket harness and accesories and don't want to spend that kind of money on this car. But I DO want a nice driver that I can drive anytime I want. So I'm going to put TBI on it for cost considerations.
My question is.......If I removed the rest of the 1985 TPI harness and ECM, will a 1988 Camaro TBI Harness plug right into the bulkhead connection at the firewall with no mods?
I just bought that harness from a forum member, I don't mind a little eletrical work to make this adaptable.....but a direct fit would be awsome.
