which vac line for seafoam

Can somebody tell me which vaccum line I should run seafoam in thru? The can says to make sure I get a vaccum line that will feed to all 8 cylinders.

I know on LS1s you can use the brake booster line, but there is some kind of canister or valve in my brake booster vaccum line. I don't know what it is or if it is a problem.

Re: which vac line for seafoam

you normally pull the line off the brake booster. I'm not 100% because I don't run that and have a carb now "has to be poured down the throat of the carb"

I stole this from.

That was a quick search on google. It just needs to flow into the intake plenum where it can be sucked into the cylinders. "correct me if i am wrong"
I have contacted seafoam via e-mail before and they are head over heels about their product and more than happy to help.

So if you need to, and good luck. The ratio is supposed to be 1/3rd in the intake. and 1/3 in gas and 1/3 in crankcase "oil"
But the gas/oil is optional.
Hope I could help.

Re: which vac line for seafoam

Thanks.

I saw that pic too. It is on LS1 tech and I am just trying to verify that it will get to all 8 cylinders in a TBI. I know I've read some stuff before about each barrel in the TBI feeding only one bank, so I just wonder if It will make it to both barrels/banks.

I dunno, it won't -kill- the car but let me look it up some more.

Edit: my old car was the 2.8mpfi and the brake boost fed into the back of the intake thing, now the carb just drinks it down the hole. I need to walk around the damn thing, would take me 2 minutes. TBI PEOPLE WHERE ARE YOU!!

Just dribble it down the throttle bores while holding the throttle to about 2000 rpms. that's the way I do it. Don't POUR it just SLOWLY, STEADILY dribble it in.
