BIG PROBLEM .... Engine Temperature Sensor?
Hello Mates ,
I have big problem, after massive repair when my mechanic putting engine he said can`t find where is Engine Temperature Sensor and now my Temp. Gadget does not work ... Engine is 5.0 TBI VIN "E"
Please Help me becouse car is ready but i can`t drive it without temp information

There are 3 temp sensors.
The one for the Gauge, is on the drivers side head, towards the front. The one the computer uses to make the car run, is on the top/front of the engine by the thermo-stat, the 3rd is the one the fan uses to turn on. It is located on the passanger side, rear of the head.

are these sensors expensive my gauge doesnt workare they on the same spot on the lo3? i dont think i noticed when when i replaced the thermostat

I replaced mine and it got the gauge back working along with kicking the electric fan on at the correct temp. I ahve a 90 5.0 TBI and it was located on the passanger side between the 6th and 8th. I had a lot of trouble getting it off as I could not find the correct wrench. 7/8th was to big and 13/16th was to small. Good luck
