I'm putting the finishing touches on a world products heads install right now on my l03. I decided to buy a MSD Coil pack and some high-po Taylor spark plug wires to install on my ignition system (the rest is stock). I was just wondering how much of a difference the coil and wires would make to the performance. Will any improvement in performance be measured in horsepower or will my engine just rev quicker, have better throttle response, or simply run more efficient?? Was just curious what I should expect....

 

it might fire a tad quicker, and pull higher w/o breaking up. i doubt it though, as the stock ignition module doesn't like much above 4000rpms.

 

OK, so basically I need to get the MSD control module for the coil to really make a difference??
