DIfferences in intake manifolds.
My next upgrade for my car is going to be an intake manifold. I have decided to run a carb intake with an adapter for my TBI 350 that i have, i have to keep my EGR for the great state of NH inspections so that narrows things down a bit, I have noticed that there is pretty much two choices on intakes that you guys are running. A Weiand, and Edelbrock. The 7525 seems to be the choice when going with a Weiand but it seems that there is no longer a listing for that on their site, or on summitt etc. I have been looking at the Performer intake from Edlebrock and am pretty much wondering what the diefferences are between the 3706, and the 3701. The 3706 has a rear water passage way, would this be the one to keep seeing as the stock intake on the car has one also? Would there be more modifying involved to get the 3701 to fit seeing as it does not have a rear water passage way. Im pretty stupid when it comes to doing things for the first time. Maybe if you guys have either of these manifolds you could throw up a pic for me to see how its on there.

I did the same swap.I used a "used" edelbrock intake.it had the water outlet on the front of it..You just run a heater hose from the fitting to the diverter,or if you have removed that just run a heater hose to the inlet of the heater core..I'll try to post a pic so maby you can see.but that was one of my favorite upgrades it just made the engine bay look so much better..
