Would this Open Element Work?

I have done some research and was would like ot know if for sure this filter would work for my car?

I have seen that we can use both Drop and Non-Drop? Thanks

That one would work but unless u have a cowl hood the top of the filter would just suck against the hood insulation. For that price i wouldnt buy it though...i bought a chrome lided edlebrock open element filter from autozone for 30 bucks. as far as it not mattering if its drop base or a standard height thats true because gm used a drop base aircleaner with a spacer from the factory.

If you can get this setup that cheap I'd go for it. I have the same thing on mine and noticed a nice improvement on the top-end pull due to to the increased airflow (I have the factory hood so I'm sucking the hot air too). I had to drill a hole in the new base to relocate one of the sensors so keep that in mind. Another major plus to this mod is getting rid of the factory airbox and snorkel setup. It cleans up the engine bay alot. I attatched a link to a pic of mine so you can see it! <a href=
