drive belt bearing

Hello, im thinking about changing bearings on drive belt because its quite noise. I already have new alternator and bearing in tensioner. I guess biggest noise maker is bearing at AC compressor and i found replacement part at rockauto.com. But other bearings is quite hard to find, there is water pump, air pump, P.S. pump and finally crankshaft. Its there a way to diagnose what bearing is about to go and whats good to go, since i cant disconnect part by part?
I also noticed time to time a high ticking noise when the engine idling, if im on passenger side outside of the car. I found in another tread its possible a smog pump, is there a way how to prove it?

Last question, i found small leak in the heater control valve. Some time ago a changed a coolant, there is some dry coolant on the tube, now its just a bit wet at the bottom of the heater control valve. Should i change it or its ok? Thanks for help, have a good one

Re: drive belt bearing

heater control valves are a common leak . fortunatly cheap , easy to change . do not forget other heater hoses & clamps . change all and avoid future problems . good luck .
