I have a set of stock Aluminium L98 heads on my L03. Could they be hurting the performance of my car? Is there anything I should do to them?

Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator. I plan on putting these on my self but mine are the ZZ4 variety. Did you notice any bottom end torque loss with these heads? How do they feel compared to stock?
I havent actually driven it yet sorry and I did a crane 20/20 cam at the same time. i have a AFPR already fited but nothing is tuned yet. I think I need some injectors for a 350's TBI. Should I bother porting and polishing these heads or getting them milled? I also have got full exhaust Edelbrock TES headers,Exhaust and I have had cat removed and stainless pipe welded in. I know there not the best headers but its what I have got.
