Crossfire Help
I just recently bought a 1982 Camaro Z28 crossfire with the original 305 crossfire engine for it, but I was told the engine was "blown". My question is: what was most commonly wrong with these crossfires? Plus, if I wanted to keep the "crossfire" for the car since I'm building the Z28 into a show car and I like the way the crossfire intake looks, can I put it on any small block chevy (in the event that the 305 is blown)? Or will I need to use the whole top end??
P.S:
No, the engine is not in the car. It is out separate. Plus, if I would need new throttle bodies, are these TB's special to a crossfire??

Any pre 86 SBC will work, but keep in mind of limited flow capabilities of a stock intake.
