TBI, you'll get great fuel economy and have the ability to generate some serious power. Plus TBI isn't as sensitive to changes in air pressure, temp, and other things as a carb is. However, you'll have to learn how to tune to use TBI. I'd recommend getting the Dynamic EFI EBL and a wide band O2 sensor so you begin to tune your TBI. Fast355 has a low 12's high 11's TBI car and he knows a ton about how to ge the most out of an EBL. Check out this link for more info:

However, if this is too daunting for you, the carb is a nice option. You'll loose fuel economy, some performance in relation to enviroment, but all you need to work on a carb is some mechanical know how and a set of screwdrivers.

Hope this helps.

I swear by TBI and EBL, but carbs are cheaper. If cost becomes an issue, build it with a carb to get it running and save up for good injection. How much power you going for? Daily driver?
