where is the IAT Sensor located?
on an 89 350 TBI? Is it the thing with 2 wires going into it. And it has the vacuum line on it that leads to the throttle body

Re: where is the IAT Sensor located?
Cars (camaro and B-body) used IAT with 8746 and 6965 ECM's respectively.
TampaBowtie photo is of TBI truck (7747) which uses mounting plate-bracket to mount ESC, ECVS and MAP. IMHO, I do not like to have my electronic components mounted on top of a hot engine, but GM thought otherwise.
In case of a truck TBI (7747) there is no IAT.

Re: where is the IAT Sensor located?
i think on the tbi firebirds the IAT is located inside the base of the air cleaner, in case you have the stock one. i dont see any point in having a vac-connector on an IAT.. pretty sure about that. imho many people with an open element forget to hook these sensor up again.
Re: where is the IAT Sensor located?
well mine has a ton of sensors on it. and i think it is the one right next to the one with the 4 wires. but it has the tan and red wire.. but i am not sure and it is under the base of the air cleaner as well. And there is no where to insert the vacuum hose in my air cleaner
