Possible injector problem
I'm asking this for the '89 Cutlass with a 2.5l tbi I drive during winter. The car won't start, but it turns over and tries to catch. I left the fuel tank almost empty over night and it has been extremely cold in Michigan this week so I'm thinking my gas lines could have frozen up. Here is the strange part though: I removed the air cleaner assembly so I could see what the injector was doing and it was spitting out fuel in a decent pattern, but at irregular intervals. The fuel pump that is in there hasn't been in for more than a year, same with the fuel filter. I would expect an injector to spit out fuel at an even pace, even if the fuel pressure (which I have yet to test) isn't quite up to snuff. If anyone can confirm this, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Re: Possible injector problem
Well I tried replacing the injector and it didn't solve the problem. I was able to get the car partially started, and I noticed that as soon as it starts to run, the fuel injector stops spitting out fuel. Anyone have any idea what might cause this. I tested the fuel pressure and it seemed fine. I went to test it for a second time to double check, but the damn t-fitting broke so I couldn't. The only thing at this point that is over a year old on the fuel system is the fuel pressure regulator. Anyone have any ideas on a possible electrical problem or anything?
