Where's the cheapest place to buy 80# injectors? How much fuel pressure can you safley run with a tbi setup?

 

I would inquire at a junkyard 7.4L <1995. Check out FICINJECTORS online.

I tink some of us ran GM up to 30 lbs. I have 80's at 19 lbs.

 

When you do get the injectors please send them off for cleaning and flow testing.

Don't just get a set and pop them in your car. There are so many injectors that dont even come close to flowing at the same rate.

The 80lb injectors IF cleaned and IF they are matched can support well over 400hp at 30psi.

80lb injectors at 13psi can support 310hp.

80lb injectors at 19psi can support 365hp

80lb injectors at 30psi can support theoretically 450hp. The limitations to 450hp on a TBI is the TBI, intake, etc.

So match your injectors/fuel pressure to your projected flywheel HP
