My Heads and Intake on a L30?
I just bought a L30 complete block with no heads and intake. the L30 is a 305 v8 5.0 liter engine from a 1996-1998 Chevy truck or van and it had vortec heads.
My Heads and Intake that I have are from my 1988 Camaro 305 v8 5.0 liter TBI. Will The heads and intake from my camaro fit on the L30 block?

they will bolt up just fine. Essentially they are exactly the same minus the cam. The cam in the L30 is the same as the Vortec/Bbody cam. So I would look into some tuning equipment to dial it in. Honestly I would try to find the heads to match that block. IIRC they flow very well for the 305. The L30 made about 230hp in stock form.Here's a thread I wrote awhile back that should help you.
