MAx Tbi Fuel Pressure

What is the maxinum fuel pressure that a 88-92 4.3/5.0/5.7 gm tbi handle? What is the weakest point in the fueling system pressure wise? Can you safely run 25-30psi on one of these units?

Re: MAx Tbi Fuel Pressure

A serch in "fast355" 's post will help, I remember something like 40+psi.

Up to 30psi there is nothing to worry, except tuning and maybe a VAFPR for less waste at low load.

Weak point is diaphragm. That I know. As you are aware you will need aftermarket / tpi/ lt 1 fuel pump.
