I just swapped in a 305 into my car that a cousin's buddy built for his truck.. so motor was running, maybe 10k on it. I spent the day hooking up the harness and vac lines, but when turning the key,my cluster lights come on..then when the key turns enough for it to start... Nothing happens.. no cranking, no fuel pump noise. the only thing getting power is the interior and the outside light bulbs. I took a look at the wiring to the starter but it seems right.. it has 2 sets of wires from the harness and one wire to the batter hooked up to the big bolt on the starter... the wire that hooks up to the little bolt on the starter is hooked up to a little solenoid located in the front of the car right by the passenger side headlight... right next to the battery. any ideas where i messed up
