Hey guy's i was wondering if any one runs a set up or knows of a set up for a 305 tbi just using bolt-ons and nitrous to get in the 13's or 12's. Without building the motor or would Like 150 shot and bolt-ons would that do it.

Depends what your definition of bolt-on is. 13's are possible with heads, cam, intake, exhaust and tuning (most consider these bolt-on). I recently ran a 14.039 with these mods and a stock bottom end. 13's are definitly withing reach for my combo.

In old post one guy head bolt ons a 150 shot he went 8.03 in the 1/8 and somewhere near the 12.50 range is where he should be in the 1/4 when I say bolt ons thats headers intake roller rocker open element and gears he had 4.10s so thats almost a second off the 1.4 there.

Nope not yet but I've ran against alot aof people that have I'm thinking at best high 14's mid 14's if I ever get around to changing my gears.

 

yea after driving it my friends dad did something to the remanufactured block. The car is really quick it rapes my friends 305 and i cant ask him what he did to the motor becuase he's in iraq i still dont know what block it is lol.

Granted I have a 350 but I am running consistent 13.6's on the motor and 12.6's on the nitrous with my TBI setup

14.2 honda civic with b18 swap, 4.8 truck running a 15.6 before tune was dialed in, just other cars I've been smoked by a supercharged 02 mustang gt, other camaros etc. The 350 is the way to go irish hockey what are the specs on your motor?

just a mild 350 modeled after the zz4 crate. comp cam, vortec heads & intake, full exhaust, etc. full bolt on rebuilt motor.

 

lol you should have all i have to do now is adjust the TV cable for the trans and thenlol

i should beable to run 13s with some spray

my car is capable of running 14s as it sits now,havent been back to the track since it was stock,it ran a 15.89 @85mph

 

not bad i plan on 100 or 150 shot ,full exhuast,and shift kit

 

As my car sits now it should be knocking on 13's door. With My EBL datalog even with tire spin it puts me at 13.5 at 105. I heard it was fairly accurate in times but the MPH's can be off a bit.My car is as "bolt-on" as it gets but my car is also completely gutted. (2860lbs). All this on a roughed in tune.
