NEED A NEW CLUTCH!!

bought me a 91 rs with a t-5 in her. pilot bearing is ovaled out from what tranny guy is telling me. causing some shaking when i first let the clutch off to engage, still in the friction zone, to final engagment. fine after shifting from first though, shifts fine into 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. or should i just replace the whole clutch, (pilot bearing, release bearing, the bushing, clutch). pretty sure im going get, change the whole thing out. but, the other thing is that, the tranny guy said that there are two diffrent size clutches that go in mine. dont remember what sizes he said, but he said the only way to find out is to drop the tranny. im pretty sure its still the orignal clutch. but is there a way to find out what clutch is in there so i dont have to drop it. on a budget.

and is this somthing that a beginner can do?? clutch change?
