305 to 350 computer
Im swapping a 1979 350 into my 1992 305 TBI camaro. This is a daily driver so i am keeping the TBI and the computer. My question is will my computer run a 350 with an aftermarket cam? Or do i need to burn a chip for it?

Re: 305 to 350 computer
The increase in displacement isnt as much of an issue as the cam. Typically anything with over 200 degrees of duration at the intake will need tuning to at least make the car run in my experience. If you dont want to tune, then the summit 1101 flat tappet (or similar) will the the closest thing to a stock cam, and runs ok without tuning.
