I drive a L03 305 TBI 1989, i was looking into swapping over to vortec heads.
My question is what would i look towards to get and prepare myself for?
- What kind of vortec heads should i get from a used truck (i'm already taking into consideration of cleaning and swapping seats,springs,arms)
- What kind of intake should i get too?
- Do i have to get a different cam to have it run properly, also do i need a chip to be tuned for this to even run correctly?
- Should i worry about emissions?

Any other tips i should be aware of that would be great!

answered in my thread. you will need to tune. you don't need a cam but you might as get one.
