Well, im going to do the LT1 cam swap. Its gonna have a full exhaust, already have the open element and headers, ofcourse when done itll get a nice tune but my question is,
What intake should I run, and what if i put a 350 crank in it and made it a 325.
What kind of heads should I get or will porting mine with LT1 head parts work?
I do not want to hear put a 350 in it
. I wont do that in this car, I will when I get a hard top.

As for porting your current head or getting new ones, I don't know, what power do you want to make?

lol, wth indeed are you talking with that 325?
on the heads, as already mentioned by my fore-poster, but it depends on how much money you can fork out for this engine and what kind of performance and also powerband you're looking for.
as for intakes, same as above, but i'll list some options to help you spin your head some more about this: depending on your TBI unit, you can take a edelbrock performer TBI, eventually enlarge the throttle bores size, or get a holley projection manifold which already has bigger TBs. then you could also get some carb intake you like (several different configurations are possible here as well) and buy an adapter to put your TBI on it. and depending on the heads you get, there are three possible intake-to-head bolt configurations: pre-86, 87 and up, and vortec...
so, what's left to say. you created a thread named "intakes", ask several very different questions and prolly expect to get detailed answers to all of them. the topics you addressed here were already covered a dozen times throughout this board, so you'll have to use the search button to get at least an overview of the possibilities. then you can still come back and create a thread with some more specific questions

Re: intakes
For the heads, if getting a new set of heads will only increase my hp by a little then i wont worry about it.

Re: intakes
hehe, that's alright. just trying to give you a heads up what your readers might think
maybe that will help you get a better idea how to get the answers you're looking for
heads can of course give you a big power boost, even more so with the right cam and compression. but that's a story on its own.. if you want some more power out of what you have now, just give them a good port job. as said, there's a huge amount of information on this board so you really just need to do some searching to get your answers.
anyways on the intake, some people on here think the eddy performer tbi is not that much better than a stocker (at least if the eddy's TBs are not bored), so you might want to look for other options unless you find a cheap one to play with. a regular carb performer intake and a tbi adapter are supposed to work pretty good as well..
