I recently purchased a 91 RS 305tbi auto. It runs but sputters and chugs, unhooking the o2 sensor made it a little more drivable home. was running really rich by the way.
I was just starting into the diagnose, replaced plugs, alternator, o2 sensor, checked fuses, plug wires, fuel filter, cat, injectors, cap rotor, was throwin a code but never got that far.
So in the midst, come across an ignition problem, i have full power but will not turn over, wont even click, lights work, all instruments and stereo work but nothing when i turn it over. I know to check to nuetral safety, and maybe the wiring to the starter and im getting there but i was wondering if this is maybe a common problem im describing? if the 2 could be related? I am new to these cars and just thought id throw it out there and see what kind of suggestions and feedback i got. Thanks guys.
