Car wont start. TBI problem?

I am trying to get my 83 TBI to start but still having problems. Just replaced the fuel injectors and they are both working. My rear TB at cold start is about a quarter of the way open while my front TB is closed. Is it stuck closed or is it supposed to do that? A friend mentioned that it may act as a choke but I just don't know what's going on. Help Please.

How about a bit more information about your ride - is it a cross fire? Any Engine mods? When and under what conditions 'no start' occurs, etc.

Its an 83 daytona. 305 Crossfire TBI. No Mods. Bone stock. It hasn't ran in almost 7 years. I have it cranking and its getting fuel and spark but still won't start. I thought that both throttle bodies had to be in-synch and my front on is closed while the back is open. I am no pro mechanic by any means so I am stuck wondering whats going on!
