No clearence issue, make sure you bore it to 46mm like the stock intake manifold or you may end up with less power/potential.

You mean before I put it on with the stock TBI, I should bore the openings (throttle bores)??? What is the reason behind this???? Also did you detect any better throttle response with this intake over the stock one???? Thank you very much for any input on this subject...Mine should be here Wensday...!.6 roller rockers at the same time along with a new dizzy too....Any other suggestions while im in there?????? Tom

Re: Anyone running the Edelbrock TBI intake on their Camaro???

The 3704 has 4.2 mm bores and no crossflow passage (4.2 mm is smaller then the stock TB).
Stock has 4.6 mm bores with a crossflow passage allowing to share the air entering each bore. It is wery hard to belive that a stock 3704 is an upgrade vs the stock TBI manifold with crossflow port.

I can not report any gains from the 46mm bored 3704, that will probably change once I have an engine making over 250hp.

So if the bores are smaller will the TBI open up all the way???? Should I bore it, and also make a cross flow mark between the bores?????? If so, how deep??? How wide, or should I just do it like the stock one....What would be the best size to bore it to???? I have already got the intake, and did not realize all this before I bought it....Thank you for any help in this matter...Tom Shaw

The stock TB is like 43mm, no clearence issue. I would go at least 47mm.
