motor warms up and looses responsiveness

i have a 350 tbi motor that i put vortec heads on and everything seems to be fine but when she runs for about 30 min. or so the motor cuts out when u stomp the gas fast. if u work your way into the gas it seems fine. any ideas on what may be causing this would be great. thanks
also some details

vortec heads
BB TB with 350 injectors
edelbrock intake with adapter
no egr
stock chip
vortec fuel pump

YOUR PROBLEMS ARe AS FOLLOWS

vortec heads
BB TB with 350 injectors
edelbrock intake with adapter
no egr
stock chip
vortec fuel pump

all of this with a stock chip, why did you remove the egr? were you getting too good off gas millage or too much power, or not enough pollution out the tail pipes?

Re: motor warms up and looses responsiveness

the egr comes off the intake manifold. not the heads if your intake doesn't have provision for an egr, by a different one or....

if you know what you are doing..... you can drill and tap a hole to run a hose off of to run to the egr valve

Re: motor warms up and looses responsiveness

i think i can do the drill and tap but the guy at tbichips bypassed his egr do u think that would be for the worse or better. i would need to burn a chip to do this i know but what do u think about bypassing it?

the EGR is good, if you can use it, use it.... if you can't, tune a chip withought it
