Soooo what would you guys would think is the problem i know what the code reads but its a fresh rebuilt motor. what usually goes bad on it. it has no response occasionally it like sputters and only cuts off once in awhile but usually just sputters then goes back to normal.

its a 305 TBI

 

How is your idle? Is it surging at all? And do you know if a new EGR gasket was installed?

 

new gasket yes and idle no not surging just little rough idle from the cam
