Failed e-test major bad. Ontario

My 91 just failed horribly, 3 and 4 times the limits, talking to a few mechanics, and the guy I knew working there, they said my O2, my EGR, and my cat are pretty much fried. When I took the egr off, I noticed that when you push it in, it doesn't hold the pressure with your thumb on the vacuum tit.. Is this bad?

The O2 definatly didn't look good, $38, a brand new NTK one.. I also noticed, that my MAP vacuum line was disconnected, and probably why the car hasn't run right in a while.. Took it out for a cruise and it feels like when I first put it on the road..

So my main question is about the EGR, above.. Lemme know.

yeah, if it doesn't hold a vacuum it is no good.

I failed an e test once by at least twice the limit, took a look under my plenum and the vacuum line on the egr had popped off when I did my slp runners. Popped it back on, passed well within the limits. A bad EGR will definitely change things

I ordered one from Rock Auto last night, $62 to my door, everyone local was around $140 - $160..

I have another question, on my intake, on the drivers side, oil seems to be pooling up, could the intake be cracked? I have brand new Felpro valve cover gaskets, and everything seems to be tight.

Spray it down with some cleaner and monitor, or you can put UV dye in the oil and trace it that way. Not likely the manifold would crack on a TBI car
