no squirt at injectors
okay, i have read through all these posts, no inj. pulse, no fuel etc, now i have to pull my hair also, i have no injector squirt or pulse whatever, so i checked the fuel. its getting to and through the injector pod, the ecm is working, everythings plugged in. now its sat for 5 yrs, i just put a new fuel pump in and this is what it does to me!! aaaaaaargh! i tried disassembling the throttle body to see if the regulator diaphram was stuck, no its not, so is it possible the old gas that was in it has ''gummed'' up the injectors? can i soak them or something to clean and break that up without damaging them? can i manualy run a solvent' like carb cleaner through them somehow? the injectors and regulator all thats brandnew, and it ran great then with no probs, it sat for about 2 years and the short rubber hose that connects the pump to the sending unit fell apart but i has not ran for 5 yrs . any help would be greatly appreciated ................................................................................. thanx 92orangestripes

Re: no squirt at injectors
Could be the distributor module or pick-up coil or the pole piece (it has 8 points like a star press onto the internal shaft) or all 3. Sometimes the bushings in the shaft housing can become worn enough for the pole piece and the pick-up coil to hit each other and cancel the signal for the module to pulse the injectors and/or fire the main ignition coil.

Check to see if you have power to the injectors. IIRC The Throttle body vehicles run 12v steady to the injectors with the key on and fire them via ground through the computer. Could be as simple as a bad connection or fuse.
