What kind of power will I be pushing with my new rebuilt 350?
Hi there.
I have an 88 firebird 5.0 and I am rebuilding a 92' suburban 350 block. I have 89 350 TBI heads port polished, bored .60 over , and with bigger exhaust and intake valves. A brand new set of pistons for my bored out heads (355).
I am putting a R.V cam in to give it sme added boost but keep it smog legal.
On top I have the Edelbrock Performer TBI intake manifold(hoping it will work well with the cam ), and just the at stock 305 throttle body (450CFM).
Open element air filter.
For my exhaust I have some Jeg shorty headers, 2 hi-flo cats and a flow master 44 series.
I am just wondering what kind of power should I be looking at with this? Thank you all for your help!

Your engine will run too lean. The parts you´ve got are very nice, but you should go with another fuelpump, 65ínjectors, fuel pressure regulator and of course another prom !!
The two bores from the Edelbrock 3704 performer intake are too small. I bored them to 46mm.
I think, you will get 290-300 HP ?!!

I already got a new fuel pump replaced, and so jus rip the 305 injector pod and put 350's in it's place?. And by prom you mean what

The stock injectors could be ok if you can icrease fuel pressure to around 25-30psi. It will require to datalog and cange some fueling numbers in the chip calibration.
If you have a TBI fuel pump, you will probably need 65-68 or higher injectors, datalog and change the fueling calibrations in the chip.
Best and easiest would be to upgrade to EBL flash http://dynamicefi.com/ so you do not waste your time.
Plug and play, no chips to burn, symply type the numbers in the calibration and load.
It learns the VE table, wery nice feature.
It also allowes to use a VRFPR, wich is better over 16psi FP.
Basically it can support almost everyting, you could ever whant.
