thats what my l03 firebird does, wtf my engine is in perfect running condition , i think that when i did mine i didnt do it that great and timed it also wrong, lots of tirespin all the way till like 25 mph in first, basically i wasted my takeoff power, but with one wheel drive and crappy lauch it cant be avoided. I think my car should do high 7s or low 8s with proper launch and if i shift the car manually to take advantage of all the RPMs.

As for 0-60 I'd say 8s is average. Though the majority of thirdgens around here (meaning my area) are TBI and from the body condition I doubt many of them could break a 9 second run.
