I am hoping some of you guys can give me some suggestions on this problem...I have a slight off idle stumble (for lack of a better word) when I lightly push the gas...Almost EVERYTHING on the motor is new, or rebuilt..The car has most all of the TBI mods, and ma running a TPI pump with AFR.....The problem only occurs when you take off lightly....Any ideas, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.....Msd Coil, and Wires, New Dizzy, New Eddy Intake...New IAC....Please help it is driving me crazy...Do Injectors ever get flat spots on them?????.Other than this the car runs great...Thanks, Tom

im having the same problem. if i go into reverse it gets so much worse.. all new sensors, dizzy, fuel pump, fuel filter, u get the idea. sometimes itll stall in reverse tho. let me know if you figure it out. the only original thing is the comp.

 

Mine seems like there is a kinda dead spot on the pedal...Just barley give it gas it does it..Push past that point it goes just fine.. First thought was TPS, but it checks out fine...Am thinking of new injectors, and a CFM Tech bored TBI unit....Am just aabout out of ideas.....Thaanks..

 

mine has dead spots at different points. i failed emissions real bad. like i said all new sensors. i pretty much raised my car back from the dead. figured while it was being rebuilt it was worth a shot to replace all sensors and other parts that i know go on early fuel injected cars. it didn't run when i got it so i cant say it got worse tho. it did clear up a little when i put my headers and 3" exhaust on. other then that its stock minus an msd coil.. the stock coils... well it ran much worse. stalled when hitting brakes or going into reverse.

mind you i do get 24mpg. so im not sure what is up. new egr and cleaned all passages. i see that problem alot being that i am a 9 yr mechanic.
