where do these wires go?

i have no idea where the yellow and red wire connects to. i asked my mechanic to look at a fuse that kept burning out and when i got my car back i noticed a lot of wires were disconnected and wrapped with electric tape so i basically reconnected most cables but dont remember where these go. any advice is much appreciated

Re: where do these wires go?

Those look like fuseable links and the "yellow" wire may just be faded. They may be burned out. Or if they are too short on one side they may need to be replaced. You would need to check for positive voltage, they may be coming from Batt +. Fuseable links generally are connected to the starter battery terminal or a battery postive connector on the fire wall. I don't think F bodies had battery positive locations on the fender well.
