I have a 87 k5 blazer tbi 350 700r4.I just replaced the throttle posention sensor,iac ,water temp sensor ,fuel pressure regulator ,tbi tune up kit.I unhooked the throttle cable and tranny cable from the tbi to do the tune up kit and hooked every thing up and went for a drive and now my shift points in the tranny is about 4seconds late and hardshifts!! what could it be the throttle posention sensor.

it is the TV cable. The cable goes down into the transmission and controls the TV valve (throttle valve). Do not keep driving with it like that. Get it adjusted. Thier is a thread in the transmission section on how to do this it is better than I can describe it.

the tranny throttle cable is out of adjustment or connected to the
wrong place on the TBI linkage..
The only tranny function controlled by the ECM is the converter
lockup on a pre '94 700r4.
should be able to find info on how to check the tranny cable
adjustment in the tranny section
