Re: 350 TBI next step...
I'd up the gears to at least 3.42 more oomph. Swap in a limited slip differential at the same time. It'll feel a lot better. (any tbi car will) Make sure you got a full tuneup and the timing is advancing. What air cleaner are you running? Id either put a open element or some sort of cold air induction on it (do a search on this board for tbi cold air system)

The above is good advice, then the next thing you should do is get a handle on being able to tune your hot rod. IMO you are at the point where the stock tuning is holding you back.
For all the tuning power you need see the EBL Flash system, available complete or DIY, that is what I'm using to run my fairly strong BBC.

Re: 350 TBI next step...
I think just swaping the EBL system on a fairly stock engine with minor bolt ons like full exhaust and maybe more fuel preassure is gonna wake the motor up, the TBI stock tune is anything but performance oriented ,it was made for economy, TBI should be able to produce decend power with the right combination of parts just like any carb motor will , just look at fast355 he managed around 400+ horses on a TBI build, thats pretty ****ing impressive for our systems. Our systems are so restrictive from the factory that even a full exhaust from headers back is already too much for the stock tune, let alone cams heads etc.
Im going to be moding my 305 just cuz this motor still has a lot of miles left on it and for the amount of HP im looking to produce a 350 is just overkill, nice heads(vortecs) , proper camshaft(Lt1 or Lt4 or equivalent) a proper manifold with Ultimate TBI mods TB should give a nice bump in power.
But before you buy anything get the EBL system , u can tune your stock system and learn how to do it so when its all ready all u gotta do is swap all the goodies and done. Sry for hickjacking your thread but you got my point
